Video has always been a difficult thing on the web. After all you just add a video element, set the source and you are good to go right? If you create a page like this: HTML5 Video demo. video. {. < video poster ="[link]. autoplay > HTML5 Video element not supported. However when I open the page in Internet Exporer 9 or FireFox we get this: The video element loads the movie poster but it doesn’t start playing. And that even though according to CanIUse.com the video element is supported on the current version of Safari I am running.
