Work with Spring's support for transactions Explain how the issues associated with object persistence in a relational model are addressed by Hibernate Understand the relationships between SQL, Java, Spring, and Hibernate Write applications that take advantage of the Hibernate Persistence Manager.

Understand and work with various options

Patterns for Web Presentation including ASP.NET MVC Patterns for Smart client, including the PRISM framework. The course will look at various pieces of technology to assist in the implementation of the patterns, such as Entity Framework, Castle Active Record, N Hibernate, Unity, WCF, ASP.NET MVC and PRISM. We will look at how this pattern is extensively used in out of the box data mappers like Entity Framework and N Hibernate. Think in terms of layers. Design for testing.
